well... i've been wanting to do this for quite some time. i know it's not going to be an easy thing, but it makes me happy to know i've got my ladies keeping me motivated.
so far, all i've been doing is trying to get a little more active. small stuff- like doing more work around the house, and taking lucy for walks. although, her walks have turned out to (usually) be no small thing. on average i think we walk about 2 miles, two or three times a week. also with softball starting, i've been running around on the field and playing catch with kevin a lot.
as far as eating goes, i still definitely have my bad habits. since i've been staying up later, i normally eat dinner at whatever time, and then i'll still snack really late. if i work on going to bed earlier that should stop. i've cut out soda, and i don't drink very often... like i said, small things.
anyway... i'm starting this now because i really want to work on getting back in shape for summer and for my move. plus, a few weeks ago i went to old navy with the intent to buy a pair of jeans, and a 10 was snug. i refuse. i always said i refused to by a size 10, and if it came to that i was putting the smack down on my body. still haven't bought a 10, but i'm running out of jeans. bottom line- i'm not happy with myself.
i'll post pictures periodically, and i hope you girls will keep me updated with ideas, progress, etc. and, if you want to invite any other friends to follow along and share tips or whatever, feel free. good luck!
